About Us
Artists Without Borders is a global charity managed by artists. AWB was founded on the belief that all children need and deserve an education that includes the ARTS. We believe that children deprived of art are deprived of hope, mental and physical health, they are deprived of the skills needed to cope in a changing world. We are the artists who care, who choose to give back to future generations the gifts given to us. We accept the responsibility to engage our creative powers so that one day we can say "no child has been left behind"
Once Upon a Time
In the prosperous village of Canada artists gathered and asked difficult questions: "what is our responsibility to the world, what can we do to bring change, how can we share our wealth of skills, knowledge, good fortune...can we do more than simply create ART...can we use ART to improve the lives of those most in need?
We will find the answers, the journey will be long, but today we say "let's begin, let's give ART a chance, let's create a better world"
