We Are ART

To help children learn more about the world we build bridges to facilitate intercultural dialogue. We connect art programs worldwide to create an enriching learning experience.

We invite art programs, schools, and gallery sponsors from around the world to help fulfill our dream to make our projects inclusive and rewarding.

+ Engaging children around the world in collaborative art projects offers a powerful and unique learning experience.

+ Collaborative art projects highlight universal themes that are relevant and interesting to children: environmental issues, culture and language, what sharing the world's resources means, art as it relates to social change.

+ Children are naturally curious about the world and want to learn more about children around the world.

+ Many cultures offer extraordinary and rich artistic legacies which are waiting to be shared.

+ A necessary step toward respect and peace includes a better understanding of cultural differences.

+ Art is a universal language that children instinctively relate to.

Our work is inspired by UNESCO’s objectives: to ensure that youth are engaged in programmes that help promote peace and sustainable development in their communities. Activities that promote engagement of youth as a means of empowerment and preventing violence. UNESCO’s approach focuses on building skills for successful transitions to adulthood (including advocacy, employability and leadership skills); raising awareness of crucial issues for youth development (such as HIV/AIDS); and providing youth with opportunities to engage in development and building peace.

"I do not want ART for a few any more than education for a few, or freedom for a few"
